The Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior announced that a number of roads in the governorates of Damascus Countryside, Lattakia, Tartous, Hama, Quneitra and Sweida are impassable or impassable with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow or the formation of ice.
The Traffic Department indicated in its bulletin this morning the condition of the roads as follows:
Rif Dimashq Governorate.. Qatana area, Arna road - Qalaat Jandal - Baqasim, it is difficult to pass due to the accumulation of snow.
Lattakia Governorate.. Jobat Bergal-Al-Ghab Road, Jubbet Bergal-Slanfeh Road, Jubat Bergal-Qardaha Road, Jubat Bergal-Harf Al-Masitra-Qardah-Al-Ghab and Harf Al-Masitra Road - Al-Amoud - Ain Al-Hayat and Markiya Road - Maqamat Bani Hashem - Astamna is impassable due to the accumulation of snow The Beit Yashout - Manizila road is difficult to pass due to the formation of snow.
Tartous Governorate.. All roads in the governorate are passable except for Al-Anazah Road - Nahl Al-Jurd - Masiyat - Sheikh Ali Al-Majdal and Al-Farroukha Al-Jadida Road in Basramoun, which are impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
All roads leading to the Qadmous area and the Masyaf-Qadmus highway are impassable due to the formation of ice, and the roads leading to the mills area in the Qadmous area are impassable due to the formation of ice and the accumulation of snow.
The roads leading to the area of Saba in the Safita area are impassable due to the accumulation of snow and the formation of ice, and the roads leading to the Broumana Al-Mashaikh district in the Sheikh Badr area are impassable due to the formation of ice and the accumulation of snow.
Hama Governorate.. All roads in the governorate are passable except for Shatah Road - Juba Bargal and Ain al-Krum Road - Qarandah - Jurin - Slanfeh and Masyaf Qadmus Road al-Hailuna - Shiha - Tair Jubba - Wadi al-Ayoun - al-Bireh - Qusayya and Ain Halaqim Road - Ain al-Shams - Barshin and Nahr Road Cold - the house of snow.
Quneitra Governorate.. All roads are passable, except for the Khan Arnabah-Hadhar road, impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
As-Suwayda Governorate.. All roads are passable except for the Shahba-Namirah road, the Shahba-Ghaidha road, and the Umm Dhabeeb-Namera-Tima road. The roads leading to the Al-Mashnaf sub-district are impassable due to the formation of snow.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to exercise caution during the prevailing weather conditions, especially during the formation of snow or the occurrence of frost, fog and precipitation, and the need to ensure the technical readiness of the vehicle, adhere to the speed limit signs, and maintain a real safety distance with other vehicles.
