A toddler was pulled out of the water at the last second on Sunday evening in the Therme Erding.
A six-year-old almost drowned.
He could be resuscitated.
Numerous rescuers were deployed.
Erding – The accident happened shortly after 8 p.m. on Sunday.
According to the police, the six-year-old slipped and fell into a non-swimmer pool.
He lay underwater for an indefinite amount of time before his little sister spotted him and called her father.
He immediately pulled him to the edge of the pool and started resuscitation because the little one was no longer conscious at that point.
A lifeguard assisted the father in resuscitation.
With success: After a good minute, the six-year-old regained consciousness.
He complained of pain in his ribs.
In addition to the emergency doctor and rescue service, the integrated control center in Erding alerted the DRF rescue helicopter Christoph Regensburg and the Altenerding fire brigade to illuminate a landing pad next to the thermal baths.
But then the emergency doctor decided to drive the little one to a Munich clinic immediately.
The helicopter landed at the nearby Erding Clinic, but then returned to Regensburg without a patient.
