The official summary of Zalanski's speech was reached after a meeting between Knesset Speaker Miki Levy and the Israeli ambassador, who only last week said: "A zoom speech to 10 MKs? Not respectable" • Ukrainian Foreign Minister: "

The controversy subsided?

Positive exchange of messages between Israel and Ukraine:

President Zlansky will address the Knesset next week.

This was agreed today (Tuesday) after a meeting between Knesset Speaker Miki Levy and Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevgen Kornichuk. The very existence of the speech was announced last week.

According to a statement from the Embassy of Ukraine, "MK Levy has expressed support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people during a period of blatant and aggressive attack by the Russians." It is unclear whether the speech will take place in the first or second half of the week.

As you may recall, after it was announced last week that the move would be implemented, Ambassador Kornichuk criticized the fact that Zlansky would speak through the video to some Knesset members.

"10 MKs in this zoom is disrespectful," the ambassador said at a press conference.

I have just finished a long and good conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine @DmytroKuleba The Minister thanked for the Israeli mediation efforts and our position on the issue of sanctions.

I updated him on the humanitarian aid that Israel sent to Ukraine and on the field hospital.

The Minister welcomed the change in refugee absorption policy and we agreed to stay in touch.

In addition, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid spoke with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmitry Kolba.

"I have just finished a long and good conversation with the Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Dmitry Kolba," the minister said.

According to Lapid, "The minister thanked the Israeli mediation efforts and our position on the sanctions. I updated him on the humanitarian aid that Israel sent to Ukraine and the field hospital. The minister welcomed the change in refugee absorption policy and we agreed to stay in touch."

Yesterday - against the background of criticism of Israel's conduct - Lapid declared that Israel will not be a "route bypassing sanctions."

In our call, FM @yairlapid assured me Israel will not be the route for Russia to bypass sanctions.

Grateful for Israel's mediation efforts and humanitarian aid.

We discussed ways of ending the war in Ukraine.

Agreed that the rights of Ukrainians arriving in Israel will be respected.

Foreign Minister Kolba tweeted on Twitter today: "In our conversation, Lapid promised that Israel would not be a detour to sanctions. We are grateful for the mediation and humanitarian aid efforts. We are on the way to ending the war. We have agreed that the rights of Ukrainians coming to Israel will be respected."

The rapprochement between Kyiv and Jerusalem takes place after the disputes between the parties have been exposed since the beginning of the war.

On one occasion, Zalansky even stabbed Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

The president referred to the picture of the Israeli wrapped in the Ukrainian flag at the Western Wall and said: "I did not see him put the Ukrainian flag on himself."
