Today, in all governorates, the process of applying for the central employment competition, which was announced by the Ministry of Administrative Development on the ninth of January of this year, ended in all governorates.
According to the ministry's data, which it published on its official page on social media, the number of applicants to the competition reached more than 209 thousand applicants in various required specializations, including 32,160 for the first category, while the number in the second category reached 106,787, in addition to 8,340 for the third category, 12,500 for the fourth category, and 32,186 for the fifth category.
The ministry indicated that the process of applying to the recruitment competition in all governorates took place in a proper and regular manner, as the ministry, in cooperation with the general secretariats in the governorates, took all necessary measures to facilitate the application process.
The ministry explained that the completion of receiving applications is followed by an audit process carried out by the sub-organizing committees formed in the governorates according to Article 8 of the decision to announce the competition in cooperation with the branches of the Central Organization for Financial Control, before the nominal lists of those accepted to participate in the competition or test are issued.
The reception of applications for the competition began on the 30th of last January and continued until the 17th of this month.
In Damascus Governorate, the Director of Administrative Development in the Damascus Governorate, Engineer Yasar Younes, stated in a statement to SANA that the number of applicants for the competition reached 20154, distributed among 3193 applicants for the first category, 2613 for the second category institutes, 10182 for the second general secondary category, 2154 for the third category, 579 for the fourth category, and 1435 for the fifth category.
In Rif Dimashq Governorate, the director of administrative development in the governorate, Raed Diab, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the total number of applicants for the competition reached 7,735 applicants for all categories, including 1,089 for the first category, 5001 for the second category, 307 for the third category, 283 for the fourth category, and 1,055 for the fifth category.
In As-Suwayda Governorate, the number of applicants for the central recruitment competition reached 11,303 applicants, according to the Director of Administrative Development in the General Secretariat of As-Suwayda Governorate and the head of the organizing committee for the competition, Dr. Mubarak Salam. He explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the applicants were distributed by 2,653 for the first category, 5185 for the second category, 713 for the third category, 1,382 for the fourth and 1370 for the fifth category.
In Deir Ezzor Governorate, 7,692 applicants were submitted to the central competition. The Director of Legal Affairs in the Governorate’s General Secretariat and the Head of the Application Receiving Committee Ayham Al-Radawi told SANA reporter that the applicants for the competition have various required specializations, including 798 for the first category, while in the second category, 3577 for the secondary certificate, 635 for institutes, 1179 for the third category, and 481 for the fourth category. and 1022 for the fifth category.
In Quneitra, the number of applicants for the competition reached 2490 male and female applicants for all categories to fill 1450 vacancies and jobs in the various directorates, according to the governorate’s Secretary General, Hussein Al-Ahmad.
In Raqqa governorate, the director of administrative development in the governorate, Hassan Al-Derkal, told SANA reporter that the total number of applicants reached 2782, including 379 for the first category, 1181 for the second category, 96 for the fourth category, and 1126 for the fifth category.
In Tartous Governorate, the number of applicants for the competition reached 38,734, including 3008 for the first category, 19519 for the second category, for the third category 7125, for the fourth category, 1586, and for the fifth category, 7496, according to the governorate’s Secretary-General.
In Daraa, the total number of applicants for the central competition reached 7,470, from all categories, to fill 4,200 vacancies and jobs, according to the Governorate's Secretary General, Muhammad Khair Abu Zaid.
In Lattakia Governorate, the number of applicants for the competition reached 34,190 of all categories, including 5022 of the first category, 14143 of the second category, 5268 of the third category, 3051 of the fourth category, and 6706 of the fifth category, according to the Director of Administrative Development in the General Secretariat of the governorate Muhannad Darwish.
