Specialized courses offered by the Central Training Center within the Directorate of Training and Development of the Syrian Telecom Company with the aim of raising the level of engineers and workers in the telecommunications and technology sector and upgrading their expertise.
The head of the center, Adnan Suleiman, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the center, which includes 5 training halls, each accommodates between 5 and 20 trainees, equipped with all supplies, pointing out that the courses are continuing in light of the companies' needs.
According to Suleiman, the courses focus on the Syrian telecom services, the fault management system (FMC), the business support system (BSS), the study and planning of optical access networks, the grounding system, lightning rods, ADSL programs, digital television, the operation and maintenance of modern switches, and the implementation of telephone networks to As well as the rehabilitation program for the alternative worker, which qualifies the worker to occupy the position of his retired colleague in order to avoid the job gap.
In turn, the Director of Training and Development at the Center, Ayman Al-Omari, explained that during the past two months, the center implemented 31 courses, benefiting 380 trainees, and the current year's plan includes 250 courses, in addition to qualifying trainees from different governorates to be trainers in their governorates, noting that the number of courses implemented last year 225 benefited from 2880 Trained.
During one of the training courses currently being held at the center, the trainer, Eng. Rafiq Ahmed, stated that the course he presents focuses on how to plan the network (FTTX) to prepare cadres in the telephone centers in the governorates and targets engineers and graduates of intermediate institutes.
On the extent to which they benefited from the course, Engineer Ruqayya Al-Sheikh pointed to the role of this in raising their ability and efficiency at work and increasing their knowledge of everything new in the world of technology, while the trainees, Rehab Ahmed and Noor Aswad, noted the efforts made by the trainers to deliver information in the simplest and easiest way.
