The shooter in the shooting spree at the University of Heidelberg with one dead and several injured may have wanted to take revenge with his act for an alleged insult.
However, the motive cannot be clarified with complete certainty, the Heidelberg public prosecutor and the police said at the end of the investigation into the death of the shooting on April 24.
Heidelberg - January with.
Until recently, there had been no reliable evidence for a political, specifically right-wing motive for the 18-year-old who shot himself after the fatal shot at a 23-year-old student.
Eight other students were also injured - more than previously known.

At the same time, the investigators announced on Thursday that they see initial criminal suspicion of negligent homicide and negligent bodily harm against the owner of the Vienna arms shop and his employee, who served the perpetrator.
Therefore, formal investigations were initiated against these two people living in Austria.
The two long guns that the student had brought with him to his crime without any accomplices or acquaintances came from them.
