The former California star and governor uploaded a nine-minute video to Twitter, in which he addresses the Russian people and Russian soldiers and warns them that Putin is lying to them and that they are captives in propaganda

Will the Terminator succeed in doing what Naftali Bennett, Spotify, Apple and Pink Floyd tried without success and bring about the end of the war in Ukraine?

Arnold Schwarzenegger apparently thinks so, as in a nine-minute video he uploaded to Twitter he addresses the Russians with an excited plea to stop the fighting.

The title of the video is: "I love the Russian people, so I must tell you the truth."

In the video, the "Deadly Mission" star and former California governor addresses the Russian people and tells them that they are captives of propaganda and that they do not understand the atrocities taking place in Ukraine.

Among other things, he tells them that the statements of the Russian regime as if the Ukrainian government is Nazi are incorrect and that the Prime Minister of Ukraine is a Jew whose three uncles were killed by the Nazis.

He also tells in the video about his father, who was a Nazi soldier during World War II and who fought in Leningrad because he was a prisoner of Nazi regime propaganda.

According to Schwarzenegger, the father returned from the war broken in body and soul and was full of guilt after realizing that the facts were different from those presented to him.

Schwarzenegger then addresses the Russian soldiers and warns them not to repeat the mistakes his father made.

He also tells Russian soldiers not to forget that they are harming civilians, schools, children.

I love the Russian people.

That is why I have to tell you the truth.

Please watch and share.

Schwarzenegger even turns to Putin in the video and tells him, "You started this war. You are leading this war. You can stop this war."

He then refers to Russians protesting against the war, expressing appreciation for their courage and saying that they are his heroes and that the world sees their heroism.

"We know you suffered the consequences of your courage. They arrested you. They imprisoned you. They beat you. You are my new heroes."

Schwarzenegger has been one of Putin's most vocal critics in recent years.

Although he is a Republican in his views, he called former US President Donald Trump "a small, wet noodle" for becoming a fan of the Russian leader.
