The Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamiyah, announced the opening of a new border crossing with Syria.
Hamiya said in a press statement today that the Mitriba crossing with Syria was opened in the Hermel district, explaining that with the opening of the new crossing, the number of official crossings between Syria and Lebanon reached six.
The Lebanese minister pointed out that the residents of Hermel were suffering a lot on a daily basis while going to Syria through the Al-Qaa and Al-Masna crossings.
