The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its forces had shot down a Ukrainian drone, hitting 54 military targets and advancing 6 kilometers into the Ukrainian depth within one day.
Today, Sputnik news agency quoted a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, General Igor Konashenkov, as saying that the aviation of the Russian Armed Forces had hit 54 Ukrainian military targets in one day, including 3 command points, 4 rocket launchers, 4 ammunition depots and 44 places of military equipment stacking.
According to Konashenkov, "since the start of the military operation, the Russian air defense systems have destroyed 184 drones, 1,412 tanks and armored vehicles, 142 rocket launchers, 542 field artillery and mortars, and 1,211 special military vehicle units."
Konashenkov indicated that the Ukrainian security forces evacuated employees and patients of a hospital in Dnipropetrovsk and mined one of the buildings there.
For his part, the head of the Russian National Center for Defense Management, Lieutenant-General Mikhail Mezintsev, announced Moscow's readiness to guarantee the lives of Ukrainian nationalists in Mariupol in the event that they lay down their weapons and remove them from any crossings and in any direction determined by Kyiv, in order to preserve the lives of civilians and the city.
Mizintsev noted that Russia has told Kyiv that it is ready to open humanitarian corridors and release all extremists from Mariupol in any direction to save the city and the people.
"The humanitarian operation in Mariupol continues, as 13,751 people were evacuated from the city within one day due to the atrocities committed by Ukrainian nationalists, with a total of 56,743 people," Mizintsev noted.
