Again court trouble for Jérôme Boateng!

The ex-Bayern professional has to bear the costs of an accident he caused in the summer of 2020.

Munich – Next bankruptcy for Jérôme Boateng* (33)!

In September, the Munich district court had sentenced the ex-Bayern professional to a fine of 1.8 million euros for bodily harm because he had hit his former girlfriend in the face with his fist.

Now the next verdict that makes Boateng look bad: The district court held Boateng responsible for a traffic accident.

Jerome Boateng in court: ex-Bayern star has to pay for a rear-end collision

The football star, who is currently playing for the French club Olympique Lyon, has to pay a cosmetic surgeon a total of 4,500 euros.

Boateng drove into the back of him in Munich in June 2020 - there was a crash on Grünwalder Straße when Boateng wanted to go to Bayern training in the morning.

With his Mercedes-Jeep, Boateng touched the Maserati of the Munich doctor after changing lanes.

There was then a bitter dispute on site, which even the Munich police * had to settle for minutes.

After mutual insults, we later continued in writing - meanwhile, the accident Zoff has been dragging on for more than 20 months.

And the judgment of the district court is not yet final.

Jerome Boateng is to pay damages

Both blamed the other driver.

Before the regional court, the cosmetic surgeon also demanded a total of 50,000 euros in compensation for pain and suffering because he had suffered whiplash and a hand injury as a result of the accident, which caused him to be unable to work.

However, he did not have the injuries documented by a doctor until four weeks after the crash – the district court did not consider this credible.

And judged: The plaintiff should be awarded "the repair costs, the costs for a replacement vehicle and the involvement of a lawyer." But not compensation for pain and suffering.

Legally, the doctor has thus won and lost at the same time.

For Boateng it remains another ugly chapter that he would probably have preferred to avoid.
