However, a cold front is expected to reach the coast of Guangdong on the morning of next Wednesday (23rd), and the weather in the area will be significantly cooler, with the minimum temperature dropping to 17 degrees, that is, a temperature difference of 11 degrees overnight.

Tomorrow equinox up to 25 degrees showers with mist

The Observatory said that an easterly air current is affecting the south China coast. It is predicted that today (19th) will be generally cloudy in Hong Kong, and there will be mist along the coast at first; there will be sunshine in part of the afternoon, and a mild easterly wind will blow. It is expected to be humid and foggy for the next two or three days.

Tomorrow (20th) is the "spring equinox" in the twenty-four solar terms. The length of day and night is the same. The observatory is expected to be mostly cloudy tomorrow, with one or two showers of rain, and mist in the morning and evening.

The temperature is expected to be between 21 and 25 degrees, and the relative humidity will reach 95%.

The observatory is expected to be warm during the day on Monday and Tuesday next week, but also mostly cloudy, with fog in the morning and evening, and sunshine for a short period of time during the day.

However, there will be thunderstorms in some areas next Tuesday night. In terms of temperature, it is expected to rise to between 23 and 28 degrees next Tuesday, and many areas in the New Territories, including Sheung Shui and Ta Kwu Ling, may reach 30 degrees.

The Observatory also expects that a cold front will strike next Wednesday, which will be cloudy with occasional showers, cooler weather, and thunderstorms in some areas initially.

The temperature in the urban area is expected to drop to between 17 and 24 degrees, with a minimum of 16 degrees in many districts in the New Territories including Ta Kwu Ling.

Compared with the highest temperature of 28 degrees the previous day, the temperature in the urban area dropped by 11 degrees overnight. Citizens should pay attention to weather changes.

The Observatory also predicted that there will be continuous showers in the middle and late next week, and "six days of rain" will befall from next Wednesday.
