The head of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, Mahdi Al-Mashat, announced his rejection of the initiative announced by the Gulf Cooperation Council to hold consultations between the parties to the Yemeni crisis in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

And the Yemeni Saba news agency quoted Al-Mashat as saying while chairing a meeting of the National Salvation Government today: “The so-called Riyadh consultations have the title of peace, and its interior is more aggression and a more severe siege on the Yemeni people,” adding, “They seek behind this conference or what is called consultations to unite and unite the fronts of the hypocrites and traitors only.” And they want to gather the diaspora within the ranks of hypocrisy and mercenaries to continue their escalation and siege on our people.”

Al-Mashat directed the Saudi regime by saying: “Why do you call for peace consultations while you practice the mass killing of our people, and what is peace if the humanitarian aspect is not among its first concerns,” stressing that the premises of peace are clear for those who want peace.

Al-Mashat stressed that the response is coming to all those who practice the siege and mass killing of the Yemeni people, whether from inside or outside, calling on the deaf and dumb world to hear the voice of the Yemeni people.

Al-Mashat pointed out that the crimes committed by the Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people revealed his truth, his ugly face, and the level of hatred he harbors against the Yemeni people.
