2022-03-19T21:45:29.955Z

The speech will be broadcast in the Israeli media, and in Tel Aviv there will also be a public screening of the speech in Habima Square.

As part of his speeches in world parliaments, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zalansky will address the Knesset members today (Sunday) at 6:00 p.m.

It will be recalled that the Knesset is on hiatus and the Knesset plenum is under renovation, so the speech will be delivered in zoom to the Prime Minister, the ministers, the deputy ministers and the Knesset members.

In addition, the Jerusalem hall has been converted into a control room, and the goal is to broadcast Zalanski's speech without interruption in the broadcast.

Members of the Knesset were asked to be in a "silent" state during the speech, and the only one who will speak before Zlanski's speech will be Knesset Speaker Miki Levy, from a nearby hall.

The Speaker of the Knesset, MK Miki Levy, said: "It will be an honor for me and the Knesset to host President Zlansky to address the Knesset members at this difficult time when the Ukrainian people are standing."

The speech will be broadcast in the Israeli media, and Tel Aviv-Yafo Mayor Ron Huldai responded to a request from the Ukrainian Embassy and the Friends of Ukraine Organization in Israel to hold a public screening of the speech at Habima Square in Tel Aviv.

Also, in Zalanski's speeches in legislatures around the world, he often asks for motifs and expressions taken from the history of that country.

In his speech to the House of Representatives in London, he paraphrased Churchill in the difficult moments of World War II.

In a speech in the US he mentioned the famous speech of Martin Luther King Jr. and said "I have a dream" and detailed that it is a dream shared by all Ukrainians and Americans to live freely. In his speech to the German parliament he mentioned the Holocaust and the Berlin Wall.

"Every year politicians say 'never again' and now we see that these words are worthless. In Europe people are being destroyed and trying to destroy everything that has lied to us."
