The municipality of Walpertskirchen has found someone who wants to take over the general practice.
But there are still several things to be clarified.
Walpertskirchen - There will continue to be a doctor's office in Walpertskirchen: Mayor Franz Hörmann (CSU) brought this good news on Thursday evening at the municipal council meeting.
From July 1st, a doctor will initially join the practice as an employee and then from October it will be managed by Dr.
Take over Ingrid Metz.
The head of the community did not want to give any further details because the necessary contracts still had to be concluded.
Mayor thanks former practice operator Dr.
Stephen Gebhardt
Hörmann addressed his “great thanks” to Dr.
Stephan Gebhardt, who used to run the practice and worked very hard to ensure that the community's general practice was preserved.
It has existed since 1946. The council acknowledged Hörmann's information with applause.
In the citizens' meeting, further medical care was a central question, especially since it became apparent that Dr.
Metz will retire for reasons of age (we reported).
At that time, Hörmann had announced that Dr.
Gebhardt received the mandate to regulate the succession and to support the community - a path that is now evidently crowned with success.
