Twelve people fleeing the war in Ukraine find shelter in Neuching in the Erding district.

Since then, the hosts have been unconditionally helping the Ukrainians.

Erding - The war in Ukraine has been raging for more than three weeks, and numerous people have already fallen victim to Vladimir Putin's war of aggression.

Hundreds of thousands have fled since the beginning of the war.

Twelve people from Ukraine find shelter in Neuching in the Erding district.

The families from Upper Bavaria welcome their guests with full commitment.

A call for donations is now intended to help those fleeing.

A total of twelve people have been finding shelter in the new housing estate on Kampelbach in Neuching in the Erding district since the beginning of March.

Among them six women, a young man, five children - including a baby.

While a couple from the settlement offered to be a host family through the Munich Refugee Agency, a resident took the initiative herself.

She too had registered, and the young woman, who herself was born in Kyiv, received a total of nine refugees at Munich Central Station.

Since then, a total of five households have been taking care of the affected people.

Since then, families from Ukraine have been accommodated on a private basis.

While the families had first arrived in their new accommodations after their flight, the people from Neuching took care of the bureaucratic things.

Registration with the city, a website that was set up immediately and a call for donations should enable the twelve people in the Erding district to get started.

So far it is unclear when the expellees will be allowed to work in Germany.

There is also no information about the school enrollment of the children.

After their arrival in Neuching, the hosts made sure that all twelve people were equipped with the essentials.

, an 18-year-old young man is currently finding refuge in the new housing estate.

A few days before his 18th birthday, his parents drove him to the border.

The young man reached Neuching when he was just 17 years old.

In doing so, he forestalled the general power of attorney in Ukraine, which bans men over the age of 18 from leaving the country.

And a 13-year-old teenager also celebrated his 14th birthday in Neuching.

However, without his father, who had to stay behind in Ukraine.
