The areas involved include more than 32 buildings including Lok Fu Village in Wong Tai Sin District, Ka Wai Village in Kowloon City District, Yuan Chau Village in Sham Shui Po District and No. 8 Garden in Tai Po.

From tomorrow (21st), the District Office will distribute rapid test kits to about 140,000 residents, cleaning staff and property management staff for self-testing.


Rapid test kits were sent to buildings near Cheung Mong Road, Canton Road and New Reclamation Street in Mong Kok.

The government reminds the public to heed and follow the manufacturer's instructions when using the rapid antigen test kits, and take pictures for records immediately after reading the results.

Hands must be clean before and after the test, and non-essential supplies should be kept to a minimum in the sample collection area.

Also dispose of properly after testing.

If the household environment is contaminated during sample collection, it should be disinfected with 1:49 diluted household bleach or 70% alcohol.

Persons who have obtained a positive result for the first time with the rapid antigen test can declare through the online platform of the "2019 Coronavirus Rapid Antigen Test Positive Results Person Declaration System".

If members of the public have difficulty using the online platform, they can call the automated system at 1836 119 to register their identity documents and telephone numbers.

The CHP will contact the person concerned to complete the declaration process at a later date.
