The mask requirement still applies.

Jörg Lohse, doctor and corona coordinator in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district thinks that's right - and explains why.
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen – How long will the mask stay with us?
According to the federal government’s plan, the obligation will largely no longer apply next Sunday, the only exceptions are nursing homes, clinics, local and long-distance transport.
However, Prime Minister Markus Söder announced on Tuesday: The mask will remain in Bavaria for a while.
At least until April 2nd.

Mask requirement extended – Corona coordinator says: “I hate them, but I need them”

Jörg Lohse, Corona coordinator in the district, makes the right decision.
In view of the still breathtakingly high incidence of almost 2000 infections per week, the end of the mask would have been risky and hardly communicable.
"It's the only weapon we have against the virus," he says.
He can understand anyone who is tired of the mask, he feels the same way personally.
"I hate her, but I need her," he says.
Doctor says: Intensive care units are only not full because of Omikron - but there is a lot of activity in clinics
It is obvious to the medical professional that the subtype BA.2 has even more impact than the already highly contagious omicron variant.
It is thanks to her that the normal wards in the clinics are full of corona patients – even if the intensive care wards are no longer as in the Delta variant.
A few weeks ago it happened that there was not a single bed available in the normal wards in the district, and the sick had to be taken to Weilheim and Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Mask requirement remains - Lohse predicts a relaxed Corona summer
Nevertheless, he sticks to the forecast that it will get better around Easter thanks to the rising temperatures.
"I don't know where Mr. Lauterbach got the information that omicron also spreads in summer." Lohse assumes that the summer will be relatively relaxed, in which you can live your life freely.
"Hopefully we'll do that too, there is a real risk that we'll have forgotten how to live freely." He advises his patients to get a booster vaccination in late summer and autumn.
The effect of the booster vaccination should last for a while.
