“Riverboat” presenter Jörg Kachelmann thinks little of reality shows like “Das Sommerhaus der Stars”.
The 63-year-old was all the more astonished when he received a request for the RTL format.
He answered them with clear words - and a touch of humor!
St. Gallen - "The Summer House of the Stars - Battle of the Celebrity Couples" (all news about the RTL show at a glance) has blossomed into one of the most successful reality shows on German television in recent years.
RTL has produced six seasons since it was first broadcast in July 2016, and a seventh is currently being planned.
One would probably like to win "Riverboat" moderator Jörg Kachelmann (63) for this, but he was not really happy about the unusual request, as reported by tz.de.

The 63-year-old once worked his way up to become Germany's most famous weather presenter, and now presents the MDR talk show "Riverboat" every two weeks, which he will hand over at the end of 2022.
At the “Summer House of the Stars” they sensed a great opportunity to win the Swiss for the cast – and sent him an official request, which Kachelmann promptly shared on Twitter.

An even bigger television career just before retirement is inevitable," Jörg Kachelmann joked about a message from the "Summer House of the Stars" production company Seapoint, which is also behind "Prince Charming" and "Let's Dance".
Only after a general refusal from the 63-year-old ("The answer is always no") was it revealed that the request related to the celebrity couple format (the biggest quarrels on the RTL show).

Despite another request, Jörg Kachelmann remained stubborn and scolded: "Thank you, I'm not that far technically miserable, I still moderate a talk show on Friday evening every two weeks," said the "Riverboat" host, who – in view of his upcoming resignation from MDR - even humorously added: "If I should be impoverished and mentally neglected in the coming year, I'll get in touch with anticipatory obedience."
