The technical workshops of the Qamishli Electricity Department began repairing the 230 kV tension line after the electricity was cut off in the city due to a malfunction in the line linking the Suwaydiyah generation facility and the main Qamishli transformer station.
The head of the department, Eng. Hussein Al-Ayed, told SANA reporter that the outage of one of the “vases” at the Tel Alou substation on the 230 KV line led to a fault in the line, which caused a complete power outage in the city of Qamishli, stressing that the technical workshops started maintenance and repair operations to restore the current to service during the next hours.
