Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
The Palestinian Prisoners Club confirmed that 31 female prisoners, including 10 mothers, suffer harsh conditions in the Israeli occupation prisons, pointing out that the mothers are experiencing double suffering as a result of the arbitrary practices of the occupation against them.
In today's report on the occasion of Mother's Day, which falls tomorrow, the club clarified that the occupation authorities often deprive mothers of visiting their children, noting that one of the most prominent arbitrary practices used by the occupation against mothers is arresting them as a means of putting pressure on their resisting or detained children to inflict the greatest psychological harm on them. Recently, the detainee, Etaf Jaradat, was the mother of the prisoners Omar, Ghaith and Muntaser Jaradat, as the occupation not only arrested her and her children, but also demolished her house.
The club pointed out that the female detainees are Israa Al-Jaabis, Fadwa Hamada, Amani Al-Hashim, Khitam Al-Saafin, Shatha Odeh, Ataf Jaradat, Saadia Faragallah, Fatima Alyan, Shurooq Al-Badan and Yasmine Shaaban.
