The Speaker of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin stressed that the United States must begin by itself to learn the principles of democracy and human rights.
Sputnik news agency quoted Volodin as saying today that when Washington begins to teach Moscow the principles of democracy and imposes a policy of sanctions, it must first start with itself, explaining that there is a big difference between Moscow and Washington's goals and policies.
He pointed out that Russia aims from the special military operation in Ukraine to save people and disarm the Nazis there, while Washington's goal in Iraq was to control the oil regions there.
Volodin indicated that Washington seeks to achieve its economic interests in any action it takes, unlike Moscow, which sets a completely different goal.
Russia continues its special military operation into its 25th day to protect Donbass and disarm the neo-Nazis in Ukraine.
