The speech of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zlansky to Knesset members will be broadcast live tonight (Sunday) in Habima Square in Tel Aviv.

During the speech, which will begin at 6:00 PM, a rally in support of the Ukrainian people is expected at the venue under the title "Israel stands by Ukraine."

The organizers of the event, a union of some of the leaders of the demonstrations that have taken place since the Russian invasion, last week asked Mayor Ron Huldai to broadcast the speech in the plaza, and after an examination he replied in the affirmative on Friday.

The mayor will speak in the square before Zalanski's speeches, followed by the speech of the Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel, Yevgen Kornichuk, and the representative of the "Israeli Friends of Ukraine" organization, Anna Zruba.

Hundreds of people came to the square, including Anna Zruba, one of the leaders of the protest against the invasion of Ukraine.

"We came here as Israelis," she told Walla !.

"We want the message to come from the Israeli people to the Ukrainian people. Putin will not hear us, but the Ukrainian people will."
