Travelers have to be prepared again for flight cancellations and delays at Hamburg Airport on Tuesday.
In the ongoing nationwide wage dispute between security forces at airports, the Verdi union is calling on employees in passenger control and personnel and goods control there to go on a all-day warning strike.
The inspectors should also stop working all day at seven other German airports, as the union in Berlin announced.
Hamburg - Last week, the collective bargaining talks, which were also accompanied by warning strikes, remained without result, a new negotiation date has been agreed for Thursday.
Among other things, Verdi is calling for the hourly wage for aviation security services to be increased by at least one euro per hour and wages to be adjusted regionally.

Security personnel are also on strike at BER: flights are cancelled
In Hamburg, the warning strike last Tuesday (March 15) caused all planned flights to be cancelled.
This had repercussions until the next day: Because many rebooked passengers wanted to fly and holiday flights were also being made up, there were unusually long queues all day long.
The airport had therefore asked passengers to be at the airport at least two and a half hours before departure.
