The sons of Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky suggested to the Rosh Yeshiva Maran that the general public should undertake to study eight pages of Gemara every day (Shuva Yisrael)
At the end of the mass funeral procession to the late Rabbi Chaim Kanevsky, the Minister of Torah, his sons began to sit "Shiva" at his residence on Rashbam Street in Bnei Brak.
This morning (Monday) came to comfort the mourners, the head of the yeshiva, Rabbi Gershon Edelstein, who, together with the late minister of the Torah, led the entire Jewish world.
The sons of the late Rabbi of the Torah suggested to the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi that the general public should undertake to study eight pages of Gemara every day, as the late Rabbi of the Torah did.
The head of the yeshiva, Maran, replied: "I wish, but not everyone in this rank."
The head of the Ponivez Yeshiva, Garbad Poversky, also preceded and comforted the sons of Maran the Minister of Torah.

Earlier, Defense Minister Bnei Gantz came to comfort and told the deceased's sons: "I had the great privilege of meeting him a few months ago and talking about the unity of Israel," he said.
