A warm and humid maritime airstream is bringing foggy weather to the coast of Guangdong.
In Hong Kong, the visibility in the harbour this morning dropped to about 2,000 meters, and Waglan Island dropped to below 100 meters.
In addition, the cold front in northern South China is gradually moving south and is expected to traverse the coastal areas on Wednesday morning.
The Observatory predicts that the weather in Hong Kong will be mostly cloudy and foggy today, with a few showers and a maximum temperature of about 25 degrees.
There were thunderstorms in some areas later, and the rain became more frequent with light to moderate southeasterly winds.

The Observatory's outlook is that it will be significantly cooler on Wednesday, with some heavy rain and thunderstorms at the beginning.

The Transport Department stated that in order to cooperate with the government's anti-epidemic measures, the East Rail Line's Lo Wu (except for designated hours) and Lok Ma Chau Stations are temporarily closed, while train services between Hung Hom and Sheung Shui Station will remain normal.
