The panic over discounted apartments continues, with 52,673,000 registered for the lottery since yesterday morning, out of about 110,000 eligible people, who may win significant discounts on apartment prices.

If you have not been able to register so far, you are not alone - the Ministry of Construction and Housing is aware of the large loads on the site, and wants to calm the winds as registration for the lottery will end on Tuesday, March 29 at 23:59.



In the upcoming lottery in March, 10,046 apartments will be raffled off, including 471 local apartments in 31 localities across the country.

The lotteries are held in the order ordered, one after the other, according to which Jerusalem will be the first city in which 468 apartments will be drawn, in nine different lotteries, while Beit Hefer with 299 apartments in three lotteries in total.

After each lottery, the winners will be removed from all other lotteries to which they have registered, in order to block the possibility of them winning additional apartments.

In the first series of lotteries, it will be allowed to register for lotteries in only three localities, but in the next series of lotteries, it will be allowed to register for all lotteries without limitation in the number of localities.



And what about the price?

Here there are already quite large differences between city and city.

For example, while in some of the projects in the city of Ofakim the price per meter is NIS 4,949, in Jerusalem the price tag is set at NIS 17,901 per meter.

In Beit She'an the price is NIS 4,467 per meter, while in Tel Aviv it is NIS 17,433.
