It all starts with an anonymous email sent to

in November 2021. A certain "Tyler", who introduces himself as a student of ESSEC - one of the first business schools in France -, wishes to tell us about the climate of insecurity that would have settled around the campus, located in Cergy (Val-d'Oise).
The situation would have "
greatly worsened
" lately and would have "
become unlivable
", in his words.
There is talk of assaults, robberies and even attempted kidnappings.
The young man also affirms that “
many students [would] be traumatized and [would no longer want] to take courses ending after sunset for fear of going home alone at night
”.

If he personally has never been the victim of any aggression, Tyler assures that several of his comrades have not had his chance.
