Success for Putin on this front:
Russian opposition man Alexei Navalny has been found guilty of corruption and law enforcement authorities have added another nine-year prison term to him as part of a show trial.
Nabalani, as I recall, is already serving a prison sentence "for fraud".
Navalny, 45, a lawyer by profession and a prominent opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been implicated by the court in counts of fraud and contempt of court.
In addition, Judge Margarita Kotova imposed a fine of 1.2 million rubles (about 40,000 shekels) on him, and when she read the verdict, she accused the former corruption exposer of committing "organized theft of property."
An opposition activist, who until recently ran the Anti-Corruption Foundation, a non-profit company headquartered in Moscow, has been serving two and a half years in prison east of the capital for alleged fraud through the foundation he headed and insulting a judge during a previous trial.

People on Navalny's behalf who use his social networks posted through his Twitter account after reading the verdict that "the fight against censorship and bringing the truth to the people of Russia remains our top priority. The Kremlin is crushing the media, and in response we are creating news."
7/10 Fighting against censorship and bringing the truth to the people of Russia has remained our priority.
The Kremlin smashes the media, and in response we create new ones.

Navalny survived an assassination attempt through poisoning in August 2020 by alleged Russian intelligence agents (FSB) under the Kremlin's ordinance.
The opposition man accused Putin of being behind the thing that almost cost him his life.
He survived following a prompt treatment he received in Berlin and after his release decided to return to Moscow.
