Bassist William Butler leaves Canadian band Arcade Fire

The 39-year-old musician is withdrawing from the indie rock band, carried by his older brother Win, to "devote himself to personal projects".

Created in 2003 around his older brother Win Butler and his sister-in-law Régine Chassagne in Montreal, the group has only five members left after the announcement on Twitter of the departure of the bassist, who now aspires to
