Bourg-la-reine psychologist still sentenced for sexual assault

Maurice M., convicted of the rape of three of his patients in his office in Bourg-la-Reine, in 2017, was back in court.

Once again, Maurice M. was tried for sexual assault.

This Monday, the former psychologist from Bourg-la-Reine, 75 years old today, had to explain what he did to patients.

Three of them, abused by the practitioner during "body psychotherapy" sessions, between 2012 and 2015.

The young women recounted scenes of touching when they were naked, "abnormal things", inappropriate positions.

To the one who reproaches him for having touched her breasts, the old fallen psychologist replies that it was "the chest" and that "it's not the same, everyone has a breast".

When a complainant evokes having been placed squarely in "doggy style", he answers "exercise of deep relaxation" in the "cat position" and laying of the hands not on the breasts "but the thorax".

Conceding nevertheless that these “details added to other details create a perverse scene”.

A heavy legal past

According to Maurice M., if these three women made themselves known to the courts, it was because they “saw in the newspaper” that he had been convicted of rape.

It was first in 2017, in Nanterre, where he was sentenced by the Assize Court to 17 years in prison, then on appeal in Versailles to 15 years the following year.

On Monday, the criminal court imposed five years of imprisonment on him.

A sentence similar to that which he had already pronounced against him in 2009. Six years later, he appeared again for sexual assault and was sentenced this time to three years in prison, including one firm.

But already in 1996, he had experienced the Assize Court.

Tried for rape and sexual assault on seven patients, including a 12-year-old minor, he was sentenced to twelve years in prison.

And the permanent ban on practicing… which he never took into account.

Except, constrained and forced by his incarceration.
