For this 2022 ranking of
Figaro
high schools , we have distinguished the forty best public high schools on the one hand and the forty best private high schools on the other.
This may come as a surprise, but if we had established a general ranking, we would have had 89 private high schools out of the top 100... Year after year, the private sector continues to dominate this ranking established according to the high school added value indicators (Ival) compiled by teams from the Department of Evaluation, Forecasting and Performance (Depp) at the Ministry of National Education.
In addition to the traditional indicators (success rate in the baccalaureate, rate of mentions, ability to keep students from the second to the baccalaureate), there is the “added value”.
