Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, during a phone call today, the latest developments in Ukraine.
"On the initiative of the French side, Putin held a telephone conversation with Macron, during which a comprehensive exchange of views took place on the situation in Ukraine, including the course of the ongoing negotiations between representatives of Russia and Ukraine," the TASS news agency quoted the Russian presidency as saying in a statement.
Earlier, the Kremlin described the current negotiations with Ukraine as “slower and less meaningful than Russia would like,” noting that Moscow handed Kyiv the draft documents within the framework of the negotiation process, and Kyiv answered some of them.
