Yesterday, the State Attorney's Office reached a plea agreement with Eurocom: Thank you for the 4000 case charges, and you will pay a fine of NIS 400,000

The State Witness, former Director General of the Ministry of Communications Shlomo Pilber, is expected to appear on the podium today (Wednesday) in the case of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in what appears to be one of the highlights in the 4000 case, which deals with the Bezeq-Walla affair.

The prosecutor's office is expected to question Pilber regarding his confession in the police investigation, according to which he acted in accordance with Netanyahu's instructions, and therefore did well with Bezeq.

The indictment states that during his tenure during the relevant period as CEO of the firm, Pilber exercised his power in such a way that the merger between Bezeq and yes will take place according to the company's needs, and acted to moderate the price drop as part of the wholesale market reform.

A key element in the indictment on which Pilber is expected to be questioned is the "facilitation meeting."

The indictment alleges that Netanyahu instructed him to act in favor of Bezeq.

"Shortly after the approval of Pilber's appointment, and as part of the 'give and take' relationship that took place between the defendants Netanyahu and the Elowitz couple, Netanyahu summoned Pilber to a meeting in his office," it was written.

"At this meeting, Netanyahu told Pilber Shalovitch complained about the Ministry of Communications' handling of his business, and instructed him to act in his role as director general of the ministry in a way that would be good with Elowitz," the amended indictment said.

The testimony should be integrated with the testimony of Dana Neufeld, spokeswoman for the Ministry of Communications, who claimed that the issue of the merger deal between Bezeq and Yes "preceded with high intensity" when Pilber took office. With Bezeq, and that the procedure related to the Bezeq-yes merger was correct.

Yesterday, the State Attorney's Office reached a plea agreement with Eurocom Holdings, which is in liquidation proceedings.

According to the arrangement, the company will thank the facts of the indictment filed in the Bezeq Securities case, as well as the charges in the 4000 case, and will pay a fine of NIS 400,000 within a year.
