The weather today (Tuesday) is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy and will be colder than usual for the season.

Light local rain is expected to fall mainly in the north of the country.

At night, it will begin to rain locally accompanied by isolated thunderstorms on the coastal plain.

On Wednesday the weather will be rainy and will remain colder than usual for the season.

Rain fell intermittently in most parts of the country.

Snow is expected on Mount Hermon and the high peaks of the northern mountains.

From noon the rain will decrease in the center of the country but during the night it will gradually intensify again.

Towards morning snow is expected on the high peaks of the northern and central mountains.

On Thursday the weather is expected to be rainy and the extreme cold will continue.

In the north and center of the country, it rained intermittently, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms.

Local rain is expected in the northern Negev and there is also a risk of flooding in the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea.

Mount Hermon and the high peaks of the northern mountains will continue to snow.
