Residents of Be'er Sheva and the Negev are trying to return to their daily routine after the attack in Be'er Sheva, not very successfully.

The fear is great and the suspicion does not give rest.

The "ONE" center, where the attack took place right in front of the Big on busy days, looks like a huge, abandoned parking lot.

From time to time, passers-by or workers pass by and those who arrived have no choice.

Most business owners have laid off their employees.

A number of businesses attached a security guard at the entrance.

"I'm scared," said an employee who finished his shift yesterday just minutes before the murder spree began.

"Today I felt an incomprehensible pressure in my stomach and asked the boss to go home. It's hard for me to be here after what happened. On the way I saw the sidewalk where the stabbing happened. Just a moment ago I passed there, it was very scary."

Maya, an employee of a nearby pharma store recalls what happened: "We went out to check and saw the woman's body lying on the floor. There was a crazy noise and mess and we decided to close the doors."

Listen to the sheikhs

We asked her how she was feeling today.

"The fear is only growing," she says.

"Although you see here that from time to time Border Police vehicles pass by. These are exactly the vehicles that were so lacking yesterday that they left the house and unfortunately found their deaths. You leave the store and suddenly everyone is a suspect. It is true that we live in coexistence, at least try, "It's so simple. I personally could not sleep at night. I did not stop crying. We are afraid. You no longer know where it will come from."

The attack in Be'er Sheva

Yehudit Cohen, a resident of Be'er Sheva, does not feel particularly different in terms of personal security.

"I feel just like the day before the attack," she explains.

"I ask only one thing, that they record the mosques and listen to what the sheikhs say. They incite us to murder."

"The crowd sits before Ramadan and hears sermons and I happen to speak Arabic. I recently passed by a little mosque a little girl. I heard them talking, it's shocking. A man hears such a thing he goes crazy. Then they are surprised that a man gets up in the morning and goes to murder Jews."
