The Longines Spirit collection is enriched with a new watch with multiple time zones.
This 42 mm diameter Spirit Zulu Time takes its origins and its name from the first Longines dual time zone wristwatch, manufactured in 1925. This Zulu, in reference to the letter Z which designates universal time in aviation and the armed forces, embeds a new exclusive in-house Longines caliber, equipped with a silicon hairspring, allowing independent adjustment of the hour hand in relation to the GMT indication.
Additional time zones are read using a 24-hour hand and a bidirectional rotating bezel also graduated over 24 hours.
With a 72-hour power reserve, this new movement is chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute).
