After a fire destroyed the home of a farm near Elbach, help for the family started in the Leitzachtal.
This is overwhelmed.
Fischbachau – When Vroni Bacher reports about the fire on her farm, her voice breaks.
On the one hand because she is "stunned, sad and desperate" to have to experience something like this.
She and her family had renovated the historic Einfirsthof in Elbach Weiher Endstall, liked its uneven walls and non-square corners.
Never seeing all this again makes Bacher sad.
On the other hand, her voice also breaks because she is overwhelmed by the village community's willingness to help: she thanks the fire brigades, all emergency services and the people who have offered support to the family.
"It's so great that the whole Leitzachtal and beyond is helping us."

After a fire in the Elbach farm: Leitzachtal helps the family
As reported, the residential building of the historic Einfirsthof in Elbach Weiher Endstall burned down completely on Sunday night.
More than 200 firefighters from 15 fire brigades from the districts of Miesbach and Rosenheim fought the flames until the morning.
They prevented them from jumping onto the adjacent threshing floor, but were unable to save the house.
The cause of the fire is still unclear, the property damage is around one million euros.
The family was not at home during the fire, reports Bacher.
"Luckily.
We probably wouldn't have noticed the fire.” When she arrived on site, she first rescued the animals with the help of neighbors and friends.
As a result, all of the family's valuables burned with the house.
She needs help now.
She gets this, says Bacher.
Neighbors have taken in their animals and look after them at their own expense.
The first helpers donated clothing on the night of the fire.
Clubs, helper groups and friends are planning support measures throughout the Leitzachtal.
The municipality checks whether it can set up a donation account and issue donation receipts.
An appeal for donations on the internet portal Gofundme raised almost 10,000 euros in less than 24 hours.
Bacher: “We are not alone.
Everyone supports us.”

City council appreciates unity
The Fischbachau municipal council also acknowledged the willingness to help on Monday.
The other deputy mayors Bernhard Padeller (FaB) and Martin Bacher (FWG) were on site for a long time on Saturday night.
"You can see that the social network works in the village," said Padeller.
"That's why we like living where we live." Bacher, who lives next door to the burned-down house, said the help impressed him but was still needed.
"People have nothing but what they wore on their bodies."
Vroni Bacher was busy with offices and insurance companies on Tuesday.
Once the first questions have been answered, she wants to rebuild her house.
But she will miss the uneven walls of the old courtyard.
"Living in a building like that was wonderful."
donation option
Anyone who wants to support the Bacher family can do so at www.gofundme.com/f/spenderaktion-brand-bauernhaus-elbach-endstall.
Volunteers are asked not to make any donations in kind at this time.
The family can only use this if they have a house in which to accommodate them.
