VfL Bochum demands a replay after the cup throwing scandal in the Bundesliga match against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

VfL lawyer Horst Kletke said on Wednesday the German Press Agency.

According to a joint statement from the police and the public prosecutor's office on Tuesday, there is a suspect.

It is a 38-year-old from Bochum.

The game against Gladbach was stopped on Friday evening when the score was 2-0 for the guests in the second half after assistant referee Christian Gittelmann was hit by a drinking cup.
