As a reminder, the 42-year-old former Argentinian international was killed by several bullets after an altercation at the

bar , located in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district (6th arrondissement).

Loïk Le Priol is suspected of having shot the ex-rugby player, who died on the spot.
Another man, who also allegedly fired, is still wanted.
Tuesday, March 22, a 24-year-old woman, suspected of having driven a Jeep from which the two men allegedly shot the former Argentinian international, was indicted for "
complicity in murder
" and placed in pre-trial detention.
A former soldier and ex-member of the GUD
Now 27 years old, Loïk Le Priol was trained at the French Navy's foam school in Brest between 2010 and 2011. He was assigned to the Montfort marine commando where he took part in external operations in Mali and Djibouti between 2013 and 2015. He was repatriated to France in July 2015 on the recommendation of military doctors due to severe post-traumatic stress.
He was then struck off for disciplinary reasons, the Navy told AFP.
Loïk Le Priol was also an activist in the GUD (Groupe union defense), a far-right student organization dissolved in 2017. Known for its violent actions, this organization was very active in certain universities during the 1970s before losing gradually influencing.
A reputedly violent individual
Loïk Le Priol is "
known as an individual with unbridled violence and as being particularly uncontrollable, including with his own comrades
", explains to AFP political scientist Jean-Yves Camus, specialist in the far right.
The respondent was sentenced at the age of 19 for violence, then at 23, to four months in prison suspended for intentional violence in meetings and drunk driving, according to

According to our colleagues, he was also implicated for having
“hit and strangled a prostitute”
in Djibouti in 2015.
Loïk Le Priol should also be tried in June 2022 - with four other individuals -, for "
aggravated violence
" on the former president of the GUD, Édouard Klein.
The assault dates back to October 2015: Loïk Le Priol and his accomplices had violently beaten and humiliated their victim, even forcing her to undress.
