However, she pointed out that it is difficult to achieve 100% coverage for each plan. The government tries to expand the coverage as much as possible. For some regular plans, such as working family allowance, the threshold for working hours has been greatly reduced.

She added that there are many community isolation facilities that need to hire short-term manpower. If councillors see citizens who are underutilized and are willing to devote themselves to assisting in the fight against the epidemic, they can encourage them to apply for registration.

She continued to point out that this round of "employment protection" plans has made reference to the experience of the previous round, and companies that have not been affected by the epidemic or have not received subsidies, I believe these companies can handle it on their own. She mentioned that the sixth round of the anti-epidemic fund has not yet been submitted to the Legislative Council, and the details will be discussed with the continuing industry in the future.

She also pointed out that the target of the employment guarantee subsidy is limited to employees with a monthly salary of 30,000 yuan, which has covered 75% of all wage earners in Hong Kong.

As for the 10,000 yuan subsidy provided to frontline cleaning guards under the sixth round of the Anti-epidemic Fund, Carrie Lam said that all security guards and cleaning workers can also receive the subsidy.
