Knight Sham Al-Assad crowned the Grand Prix of the Showjumping Loyalty Tournament

The jockey Sham Al-Assad was crowned the Grand Prix of the Loyalty Show Jumping Tournament in its twenty-sixth edition, which concluded its competitions today on the grounds of Al-Basel Club in Dimas in Damascus countryside.

The jockey Sham Al-Assad won the Grand Prix title after winning the first place in the “Big Tour” high-class match for a height of 145 cm, recording the fastest time of 33.61 seconds without errors, leaving the second place for the jockey Ahmed Hamsho with a time of 33.73 seconds without errors as well. The jockey Omar Hamsho came third with four errors and the jockey Qutaiba Al-Daghli fourth and jockey Hammam Al-Khouli fifth with eight mistakes each, and the time difference was the difference between them, knowing that the Grand Prix competitions were held in two rounds.

The jockey Ahmed Hamsho won the title of the “Medium Tour” championship, which was held on a run and a weighting round with a height of 135 cm. He won the first place, recording the fastest time of 35.59 seconds, followed by the jockey Laith Al Ali with a time of 35.64 seconds, then the jockey Omar Hamsho with a time of 36.25 seconds, then the jockey Jawad Nizam with a time of 36.25 seconds 36.49 seconds, then the jockey Sham Al-Assad, with a time of 37.05 seconds.

As for the title of the minor category competition, “Small Tour” was crowned by the jockey Sham Al-Assad, and the jockey Aya Hamsho came in second place, the jockey Jawad Nizam third, the jockey Ali Issa fourth, and the jockey Muhammad Baali fifth.

The jockeys Al-Jawad Al-Naqari, Jawad Al-Ahmad and Osama Al-Subaie won the titles of the children's categories, "Mini Tour" and "Ama Tour".

At the end of the competitions, the winning knights in all categories were crowned in the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghabash, the President of the General Sports Federation, Firas Mualla, and the Director of the Department of Physical Preparation and Sports in the Army and Armed Forces, Major General Mohsen Abbas.
