Pope Francis recorded a short video for Hong Kong to bless Hong Kong under the epidemic, and hope that the faithful will still be full of courage in difficult times and become good citizens.
Francis said that he especially misses the many people who have suffered because of the epidemic. His heart is with everyone, praying for everyone, and his message is to keep moving forward with "filial piety to Christ and the Virgin Mary!"
Francis also greeted mainland churches and thanked them for their testimony of the faith.
He pointed out that the epidemic has brought a lot of pain to everyone, and thanked the Catholics in the mainland for their work and enduring all this.

The Catholic Bishop of Hong Kong Diocese, Zhou Shouren, was invited to visit Rome early last month as his first unofficial visit after being ordained as a pastor.
During his meeting with Francis, Zhou Shouren invited the Pope to bless the churches in Hong Kong and the mainland under the epidemic, and recorded two short videos of more than two minutes in total.
Speaking in Italian, Francis said that he was with Zhou Shouren during the recording, wishing to greet the brothers and sisters in Hong Kong, to send blessings and best wishes.
He said that the epidemic has claimed many lives around the world, and it is the same in Hong Kong. His heart is with the people of Hong Kong, and I hope everyone will be full of courage.
Francis encouraged the faithful in the mainland, calling to "walk with the Lord", although "sometimes the Lord seems to disappear, but He is always with us", calling for patience and hope.
He said that he would pray for the faithful in the mainland, and asked everyone to pray for him.
