The residents of the village of Al-Jarthi in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor demonstrated to condemn the practices of the US-backed (Qasd) militia, which led to the confiscation of public life in the village, control of people's livelihood, and its continued kidnapping of young people and forcing them to fight in its ranks.
Civil sources said in a statement to SANA reporter that dozens of residents of Al-Jarthi village in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor demonstrated today in the village square and chanted slogans denouncing the practices of the (Qasd) militia, which arbitrarily controls the public life of the people and steals crops and wealth in the area, which has led to poor living conditions and a lack of basic resources. And its daily needs on the one hand, and its continued kidnapping of young men to force them to fight in its ranks.
The people demanded the removal of the armed barriers set up by the militia, which works to blackmail the people, impose royalties on them, and kidnap their children under false pretexts.
