The Russian United Shipbuilding Corporation announced today its intention to deliver new ships and submarines to the country's navy this year.
The Russia Today website quoted the company as saying in a statement: It is planned that the company will deliver to the Russian Navy 8 new multi-purpose ships and submarines before the end of this year.
It is planned that before the end of this year, the Russian army will receive the “Admiral Golovko” frigate, the third ship developed by Russia in the framework of government project No. 22350, in addition to another developed frigate.
And Russian media had indicated earlier that experts in the country would manufacture during the current year two naval minesweepers of the Alexandrite type.
