Damascus-SANA
Temperatures remain 6 to 8 degrees below their average as a result of the country being affected by a shallow air depression accompanied by southwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
And the General Directorate of Meteorology expected in its bulletin this morning that the weather will be partly cloudy in general, turning to cloudy at times, and the opportunity will be ripe for rain showers over most areas in the afternoon and evening, which will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes over the coastal areas.
The winds are moderate, northwest to southwesterly, with active gusts in the afternoon, and the sea is light to medium in height.
Tomorrow, temperatures will remain lower than their average by 5 to 9 degrees Celsius, and the weather will be cloudy and rainy at times. Precipitation will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes over the coastal, northern and island areas, and snowy on the mountainous heights.
