“If you believe the polls…” When asked about their (im)popularity, all the presidential candidates doubt the reality of the polls.

And yet!

They themselves have their noses on it, their advisers and strategists order them regularly, to assess themselves, calculate the risk of a hypothesis or measure the echo of an idea.

The "rolling poll" exercise that Le Parisien-Aujourd'hui en France, in partnership with Franceinfo, offers is different: it is a daily poll, carried out by the Ipsos-Sopra Steria institute from Monday to Saturday with a stable sample.

It makes it possible to measure with greater reliability the evolution in the opinion of the perception of each candidate.

Everything is important, from the 5% bar which allows you to finance your campaign to qualify for the second round, but also from the intermediate score with a view, or not, to alliances.

Daily evolutions that you can find in the module below.

Methodology: survey conducted online from March 18 to 22, 2022. About 500 people (out of a sample of 1,741 people registered on the electoral lists) were questioned every day via the Internet.

The results presented show the accumulation of the interviews carried out over the last three days.

This barometer tracks voting intentions and opinion on a day-to-day basis.

Quota method.
