Baking without an oven and mixer: the 26-year-old publishes a special baking book – ZDF is also paying attention

The Dietramszellerin Anna-Lena Röpfl publishes unusual recipes in her book "Teigliebe" - for some you don't even need an oven.

Dietramszell – what actually is baking?

If you ask Anna-Lena Röpfl, the answer is quickly clear: "In any case, it's more than just stirring the dough together." Now the 26-year-old Dietramszellerin has written an unusual baking book herself: "Dough love - cakes for everyone!"

"Even as a child, I liked to help my mother and grandmother with the baking," says the trained media and communication designer.

So it's no wonder that at some point she picked up the mixing spoon herself.

However, it was not enough for Röpfl to copy recipes.

She developed her own creations, placing great value on fresh ingredients.

"The results were then given to friends and family members to evaluate."

And they were absolutely thrilled.

"Can you give me the recipe?" was the most common question afterwards.

Röpfl did not hesitate and started the food blog "Teigliebe".

Here she used the camera – mostly in the nature of her home in Dietramszell – to stage the cakes according to occasion or season and provided the respective recipe.

The blog became so successful that even ZDF took notice of the young baking artist.

Röpfl laughs: "I never would have thought that the makers of 'Kitchen Dreams' would be here in my kitchen with their camera team." The 26-year-old continued to experiment, replaced sugar with other sweeteners and created vegan recipes and cakes, for which no flour is needed.

"It may be that you have to eat gluten-free or, to put it simply, you have run out of flour."

It was precisely her experiences from her student days that gave Röpfl more ideas.

Because what should you do when visitors are announced, but the oven or the mixer has given up the ghost or the scales have suddenly become untraceable?

Röpfl also has advice here and has put together recipes accordingly.

Baking book for everyone: 26-year-old fulfills a dream with publication

So what could be more obvious than publishing this collection in a baking book?

The idea for such a project had been in the mind of the young woman since her third semester.

However, it should offer more than the usual baking books do: Röpfl created videos of the basic dough such as sponge or biscuit dough, which can be called up via QR code.

“There are also a few blank pages at the back of the book so you can write down your own favorite recipes,” she says.

The Dietramszellerin offered her book to the appropriate publishers - and was ultimately able to choose from three.

The decision fell on Brandstätter Verlag in Vienna.

This is a dream come true for Röpfl.

"Somehow I had to do it - simply that I did it." She hesitates briefly.

"It's all cakes that make you happy."
