A German man died in a cave on Mallorca.
The helpers who were called by emergency call came too late.
Palma - On Tuesday March 22, a tourist from Germany died in an accident in a cave in Mallorca.
Despite the warning of a storm and high waves, the man from Bottrop in North Rhine-Westphalia descended a staircase on a cliff in Cala Serena in the afternoon, the police said on Wednesday.
The man also ignored a sign warning against entering the sea-washed cave in bad weather.

When the man reached the bottom of the stairs, he was caught by a wave and thrown against the rocks.
The doctor at a nearby hotel was the first to respond to an emergency call and witnessed the body being washed out to sea.
Because of the storm, police divers only managed to recover the body in the evening.
Just last summer, two women from Germany died in a swimming accident on Mallorca.
They went into the sea despite the red flag.
