The "Noble Dina" exercise, featuring four navies from Greece, France, Cyprus and the United States, came to an end today (Thursday).

The exercise took place in the Mediterranean Sea, southwest of Cyprus.

This is an exercise that takes place every year in the eastern basin of the Mediterranean with the participation of the Israeli Navy and foreign fleets.

This year the exercise is slightly larger compared to previous years, and in addition to Israel and Cyprus, the United States, France and Greece are also members of NATO.

The joint exercise opened with a professional meeting of the commanders of the ships in order to strengthen the connection and mutual understanding between the fleets, the meeting took place on the missile ship Ahi Hanit in the middle of the sea.

The participating forces performed a series of various exercises including naval defense, dealing with the submarine threat, search and rescue, providing a medical response at sea, dealing with naval and air threats, and combined naval and air force training against submarines.

The practice of the common scenarios contributed to the mutual learning between the fleets, to the strengthening of ties and collaborations, to the sharing of professional knowledge and to the creation of a common language.
