The most serious injury concerns a 75-year-old woman who suffered a broken leg.
Arrested on the spot, the individual was taken to the Provins police station and an investigation opened for violence with a weapon.
The condition of the suspect having proved incompatible with police custody, the prosecution ordered compulsory hospitalization for psychiatric problems, said the prosecutor.
